What is the procedure for Plasma Tightening?

Plasma tightening is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that uses radio frequency energy to create plasma. This process physically shrinks the skin, providing instant results as the cells move closer together.

The tool used looks like a pen, and is extraordinarily accurate. When it is applied to the skin it generates a heating sensation. As well as shrinking the skin, the process also triggers your body’s wound-healing response, which stimulates the production of collagen.

Numbing cream is applied to the area before the procedure for your comfort. The plasma pen doesn’t actually come into contact with your skin - it is held about 5mm away from the treatment area.

Treatment time varies depending on the size of the area and the thickness of the skin.

Following the treatment you will be given aftercare advice for best results.

Does Plasma Tightening hurt?

Numbing cream is applied prior to the treatment, but you may experience mild discomfort as the heat passes over the skin. Emma will check in with you throughout the procedure to ensure your comfort.

What is a Plasma Eye Lift?

A plasma eye lift is one of the most popular applications of plasma treatment. It’s suitable for everybody, and helps to tighten sagging skin around the eyelids (upper and lower) without the risks associated with more invasive procedures.

Who is Plasma Tightening suitable for?

For some areas, like around the eyes, anyone can have the procedure done. However, for other areas of the face, plasma tightening is most suitable for more mature skin.
